THE ORIGIN OF THE QUEENDOM OF LILITH
It all started with a question from our daughter, Elena Lilith. One day, she asked us:
“Mum, why do you call me a princess? I’m not a real princess.”
We didn’t know what to say.
Until then, calling her «princess» had simply been a loving way of talking to her. But her question made us think. We could have told her, “Because you’re our princess,” but we felt that she was looking for something more than just a nice phrase.
As parents, we take her questions seriously. And this time, we wanted to find a real answer.
For several days, we kept thinking about it, until her father decided to search online:
“How can I turn my daughter into a princess?”
That search led us to discover stories of people who had tried to create their own kingdoms and, among other things, we discovered Bir Tawil, between Egypt and Sudan. A few years ago, a father traveled thousands of kilometers to reach Bir Tawil and plant the flag of his daughter’s kingdom there, in the middle of the desert.
Then we started asking ourselves whether we could also find a way to make something similar happen, but closer to home.
We started searching, looking at maps, researching and exploring different places. We wanted to find somewhere that could become the beginning of our project.
And that is how the idea of FREE QUEENDOM OF LILITH was born, a name that comes directly from Elena Lilith.
On May 1, 2026, we went to the place we had chosen and read our country’s foundational discourse.
For us, that day was the beginning of something that had started with a very simple question, but had taken us much further than we ever imagined.
We don’t want to present this as a fairy tale. It is a real family project that we are building little by little.
And we want to share it because we believe that the most important part of this story is not just the place, the flag or the name.
It is that a little girl asked a question, and her parents decided to listen to her, take her question seriously and look for an answer.
This is the story of Elena Lilith and how one question gave birth to FREE QUEENDOM OF LILITH.
