Margaret Thatcher

Why do we need a country ruled by us, women? A lot of reasons all along history teach us that is the best solution.

Miss Margaret Hilda Thatcher (Grantham 1925)

«In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman.»

This well-known statement by our protagonist (Margaret Hilda Roberts, maiden name) clearly shows how men and women approach politics differently: women focus on taking action and delivering results, while men focus on talking and making promises. «The iron lady», as a Soviet journalist nicknamed her, spent her entire political career surrounded by men. This circumstance led her to develop a masculine character. In fact, simply because she was a woman, she had to constantly prove to others that she could be just as competitive and aggressive as the most competitive and aggressive of men.

For instance, the very fact that she was a woman led the Argentine military to believe that if they invaded the Falklands (a British colony), Margaret Thatcher would not have the courage to start a war and would instead relinquish the islands. But they were mistaken; Margaret Hilda Thatcher declared war on Argentina and won it. The Falkland Islands became British once again and the Argentine military learned a lesson: «If we women have no other choice but to go to war, we will go to war.»

We need a matriarchy and gynocratic societies so that we women can develop our own way of engaging in politics with complete freedom, without having to constantly prove anything to anyone. We need a matriarchy and gynocracy to avoid wars, and also we need them because:

«In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman.»
